I am Kenyatta Shakur and I am introducing Sara Heise, founder of Aurora International Publishing (AIP) in Denmark. I am proud to sponsor this fundraiser for my friend, author and visionary collaborator, DeAngelo Capone, a man wrongfully convicted, but never defeated. DeAngelo has spent over 3 decades falsely incarcerated in Ohio. DeAngelo’s story is not one of confinement. It is one of resilience, purpose, and leadership. From inside prison walls, he has built a platform of positive impact; writing books, mentoring, and founding a movement dedicated to global change.
DeAngelo is the founder of Tranquil Earth Alliance (TEA), a grassroots initiative focused on human rights, criminal justice & prison reform, and environmental justice. TEA connects people internationally to fight for human dignity, social accountability, and a livable future for all. He is the author of two books, with two more shortly to be released, and he is the developer of several educational tools that address cycles of violence and inspire transformation. Despite incarceration, DeAngelo has remained committed to healing communities, supporting youth, and advocating for those without a voice. His work is grounded in restorative justice, earth-centered values, and the belief that no one is beyond redemption of purpose.
DeAngelo is striving daily to expand positive outreach but his ability to do so is limited by his circumstance. Your donations will directly support publishing and distributing his educational materials, supplies and services, and communications to continue his work.
