About Aurora International Publishing
My name is Sara Heise, and I founded Aurora International Publishing (AIP) to amplify voices that are too often silenced. I focus especially on those impacted by incarceration, marginalization, or systemic injustice. I offer professional publishing services to authors and artists who have something powerful to say but few platforms willing to listen.
Mission
Amplifying unheard voices. Supporting personal growth. Building bridges through liberal art.
Through publishing, mentoring, and fair compensation, I help people transform isolation into impact. I work with authors whose stories inspire change, foster healing, and deserve to be part of the cultural record. These are stories that should not be ignored or forgotten.
What I Do
- Publish books through Amazon KDP in print and digital formats
- Curate anthologies and run bi-annual submission calls
- Guide authors through editing, formatting, and design
- Hold royalties in trust when authors cannot receive them directly
- Offer clear, respectful contracts and pay-per-word compensation
- Support people who are incarcerated or disconnected from digital systems
Digital Art and Creative Preservation
I also work to digitize creative works from the people I serve. This includes scanned artwork, AI-assisted illustrations, and visual extensions of their writing.
Once digitalized, I curate and sell these works on Objkt.com for Tezos. Each listing includes attribution, fair metadata, and ethical presentation. I take a 20% commission on sales to support ongoing outreach and publishing costs, while the remaining value goes toward sustaining the contributor’s voice and visibility in public space.
This is another way I help transform overlooked creative work into lasting, meaningful presence in the world.
